The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton looks for a takedown but Omen sprawls well.
Patton shoots for a double leg takedown but Omen sprawls well. He's pushed Patton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Omen keeps the fight on the outside.
Patton scores with a crisp jab that stopped Omen in his tracks.
Omen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Patton counters by clinching up.
Omen manages to break the clinch.
Patton takes the fight into the clinch.
Patton tries for a takedown but Omen manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Patton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Patton keeps control of Omen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Patton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Omen misses with a takedown
and Patton counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Omen has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
