Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Sanford (ranked 1869 p4p, 2782 weight class) and Dante Drayman (ranked 228 p4p, 303 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Sanford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dante Drayman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drayman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sanford can pounce on him.

Drayman looks to land a combination but Sanford avoids it well.
Drayman gets caught flat footed, as Sanford shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sanford in particular looking to stall.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drayman can do anything to dispel that myth.
