Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Crute!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arni fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Arni pushes Crute up against the cage in a clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Crute is trying to stall.
Arni can't get the takedown.
Arni jumps guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arni pushes Crute off and scrambles back to his feet.
Arni smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Jimmy Crute has been cut.
Crute leaves Arni with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Crute tries to close the distance and clinch but Arni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Crute gets tackled into the cage by Arni. Arni maintains the clinch.
Arni is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crute pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Arni pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Arni misses with a head kick.
Crute throws a lazy head kick
and Arni counters with a two punch combo.
Arni clinches.
Arni breaks the clinch.
Crute with a poor takedown
enabling Arni to counter with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arni closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Arni lands a right hand that snaps the head of Crute backwards.
Crute looking to slow down the pace here.
Arni is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Crute using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Arni has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Crute is trying to pull guard but Arni has him pressed against the cage.
Arni jumps guard and drags Crute to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Crute wants to get up but he can't break Arni's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Arni is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Crute loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Arni tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Arni wants to get back to his feet but Crute is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Crute slips nicely into half guard.
It looks like Crute is going to stand back up.
Arni wants to get back to full guard but Crute has mounted him!
Crute can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Arni is looking to escape.

Crute prevents Arni from getting the reversal.
Arni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crute on the ground.
Crute pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Crute looking to secure an arm triangle but Arni defends it well.
Arni tries to improve his position but Crute has taken his back! Crute has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Arni tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Crute pushes Arni away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
