Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Mcdonald (ranked 25079 p4p, 5358 weight class) and Owen Wall (ranked 577 p4p, 518 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Timothy Mcdonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Wall! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall pushes Mcdonald up against the cage in a clinch. Wall tries to break free but Mcdonald pushes him back against the cage.
Wall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mcdonald clinches up against the cage.
Mcdonald pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcdonald as he avoids it easily.
Wall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcdonald! Wall working away.
Wall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcdonald knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wall throws an elbow but Mcdonald slips to the side and avoids it well.
Wall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcdonald has escaped the position, nice work there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mcdonald is not content to let Wall control the position. Mcdonald wants to control but Wall postures up. Wall controlling the position.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wall has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Mcdonald is looking to clinch. Wall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Mcdonald tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mcdonald shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wall pinned against the cage. Wall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wall clinches up with Mcdonald and pushes him back against the cage.

Mcdonald breaks the clinch.
Mcdonald tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wall swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wall blocks the body kick.

Mcdonald gets a clinch. Mcdonald is looking for a takedown. Wall lands with a right to the head. Mcdonald tries to pull guard but Wall won't allow it.

and Mcdonald counters with a series of strikes. Wall will be more careful next time no doubt.

Mcdonald breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mcdonald tries to clinch but Wall is having none of it. Mcdonald shoots in for a double leg but Wall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mcdonald is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Mcdonald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mcdonald tries a head kick but it misses.
Wall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wall closes the distance and pushes Mcdonald back into the cage.
Wall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Timothy Mcdonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Mcdonald misses. Wall tries to counter with a clinch but Mcdonald shakes him off and moves away. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wall has eaten all the pies!
Wall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wall cracks Mcdonald with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Owen Wall dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcdonald defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wall. Wall shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcdonald tries to sprawl out of it but Wall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcdonald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mcdonald wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Wall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wall showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wall throwing shots but Mcdonald is blocking nicely.

Wall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wall wants it to stay on the feet.
Wall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wall frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Poor strikes thrown by Wall there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wall postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mcdonald looks a forlorn figure.

Wall is working for a guillotine from mount but Mcdonald frees his head quite easily.

Wall is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mcdonald to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mcdonald shrugs it off. Wall controlling from mount. Wall landing shots from mount. Mcdonald wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wall.

Mcdonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Wall circles away.

Mcdonald pushes Wall against the cage but Wall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wall seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mcdonald avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wall.

And that's the end of the fight! Owen Wall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
