Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Issac Nwudu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Douglas Weaver!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nwudu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Weaver.
Nwudu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nwudu throws a solid leg kick but Weaver takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nwudu.
Nwudu missing with a left hand there. Weaver was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nwudu.
Nice defenses there by Nwudu.
Weaver misses with an uppercut.
Weaver moves out of range as Nwudu throws a body kick.
Nwudu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Weaver feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nwudu sprawling to the canvas! Nwudu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Weaver finish him?!
Nwudu is rocked!
It looks like Issac Nwudu has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nwudu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oh Nwudu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Weaver throws a hook to the side of Nwudu's head but Nwudu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nwudu seems to have got his legs back now.
Weaver misses with a hook.
Weaver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nwudu was well out of range. Poor timing from Weaver.
As Weaver backs away, Nwudu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nwudu throws out a loose jab but Weaver uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nwudu just misses with a punch to the body.
Weaver looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nwudu.
Weaver throws an overhand right that lands on Nwudu's shoulder, as Nwudu tries to avoid the shot.
Weaver shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Nwudu takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Weaver sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Nwudu bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Douglas Weaver!
