Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ian Laperierre (ranked 2442 p4p, 1830 weight class) and Raleigh St. Clair (ranked 267 p4p, 197 weight class). Laperierre's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tha Shiznit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ian Laperierre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raleigh St. Clair! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laperierre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Laperierre trying to control the action but St. Clair is working from the bottom.
Laperierre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but St. Clair is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Laperierre has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. St. Clair manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laperierre prevents St. Clair from improving his position. Laperierre throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ian Laperierre dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

 Laperierre is rocked! Laperierre wants to control but St. Clair postures up. Oh Laperierre is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!  That's four minutes gone in the round. St. Clair lands a couple of decent looking shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! St. Clair lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. St. Clair is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Laperierre has momentary wrist control but St. Clair slips an elbow through the middle. St. Clair with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

St. Clair got a little sloppy there for a moment and Laperierre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, St. Clair has managed to get both his arms back between Laperierre's legs - danger averted. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raleigh St. Clair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Laperierre shoots in for a takedown but St. Clair shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. St. Clair thinks about the counter body kick. Laperierre doesn't succeed with the takedown and St. Clair cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Laperierre takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. St. Clair makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. St. Clair chips away with some ground and pound. St. Clair throwing strikes but missing. St. Clair postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells St. Clair's corner. There ya go! There ya go! St. Clair lands a couple of decent looking shots. St. Clair arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Laperierre's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Raleigh St. Clair! During a confident post fight interview, Raleigh St. Clair thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
