Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kendo Yakuza (ranked 2676 p4p, 2440 weight class) and Changa Galowanga (ranked 299 p4p, 265 weight class). Changa Galowanga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendo Yakuza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Changa Galowanga! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yakuza throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
 It looks like Changa Galowanga has been cut. A lazy left from Galowanga finds it's target.
Yakuza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Galowanga is trying to defend but Yakuza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Yakuza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Galowanga can do anything to dispel that myth. Galowanga is looking to improve his position.
Yakuza has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Galowanga keeps control of the position for the meantime. Galowanga blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yakuza. Yakuza lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Yakuza wants to pass to mount but Galowanga is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yakuza throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Galowanga wants to improve his position but Yakuza is controlling well.

Yakuza is trying to work for a kimura but Galowanga is defending well.
Yakuza landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Yakuza working over Galowanga with some ground and pound. Galowanga looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Galowanga trying to control from the bottom.
Nice strikes from Yakuza there. Ground and pound from Yakuza. Yakuza not landing any meaningful shots this time. Galowanga taking some punishment here, with Yakuza in his half guard. Yakuza sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Galowanga defending well though. Galowanga wants to get back to full guard. Galowanga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yakuza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yakuza working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Galowanga is looking to improve his position.
Yakuza is looking for a kimura but Galowanga is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yakuza to get the leverage. Galowanga keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Yakuza slips a nice elbow through Galowanga's hands, connecting with Galowanga's forehead. Yakuza working over Galowanga with some ground and pound. Galowanga looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yakuza scores with a big shot! Galowanga's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Galowanga! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
