Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshimo Sakamoto (ranked 25340 p4p, 25265 weight class) and Ryobi Sansho (ranked 481 p4p, 467 weight class). The key to victory for Hiroshimo Sakamoto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hiroshimo Sakamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryobi Sansho! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sansho misses with a hook
letting Sakamoto counter with a right hand. Sakamoto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sansho misses with a left hand and Sakamoto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sansho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sakamoto manages to avoid it. Sansho misses with a left hand and Sakamoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sansho throws an off balance right hand
and Sakamoto counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sansho takes a swing at Sakamoto's ribcage but misses. Sansho misses with a hook
enabling Sakamoto to counter with a crisp jab.
 Sansho is rocked! Sakamoto thuds a left hand into Sansho's body. A solid leg kick lands there for Sakamoto.
Sansho swings widly with a right hand
and Sakamoto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Sansho misses with a right hand letting Sakamoto counter with a right hand. Sansho is still on wobbly legs! Can Sakamoto finish him? Sakamoto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sansho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sansho seems to have recovered his senses. Ryobi Sansho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sansho throws an off balance right hand
and Sakamoto counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sansho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sakamoto counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sansho looks winded! Sansho swings widly with a right hand
and Sakamoto counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sansho misses with a body punch
enabling Sakamoto to counter with a crisp jab. Sansho swings widly with a right hand
and Sakamoto counters with a huge left! Sansho is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sakamoto isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sansho from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sakamoto!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiroshimo Sakamoto! An out of breath Hiroshimo Sakamoto thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
