Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikandros Ihejirika!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diddy Oils!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihejirika gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ihejirika tries to circle away but Oils has him pinned against the cage.
Ihejirika really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ihejirika wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Oils tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ihejirika just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ihejirika's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ihejirika shoots and misses
and Oils counters with a crisp one two that drops Ihejirika! Oils thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ihejirika to his feet! Ihejirika is in big trouble!
Ihejirika is rocked!
Oils misses with a head kick.
Ihejirika seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Oh Ihejirika is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Horrible takedown attempt by Oils or perhaps it was just good defense by Ihejirika, which made it look bad.
Ihejirika stuffs the takedown attempt from Oils. Oils gets slowly back to his feet.
Nikandros Ihejirika has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diddy Oils.
Ihejirika get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Ihejirika stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Oils runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diddy Oils!
