Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Menacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marlon Morales!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Menacho circles away quickly and effectively.
Morales tries to clinch but Menacho moves out of range.
Menacho is looking to clinch but Morales is avoiding it.
Morales finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Menacho looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Menacho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morales swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Menacho scores with a jab to the body.
Morales shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Menacho pinned against the cage. Menacho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Morales digs a good body shot into Menacho's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morales shoots in for a takedown but Menacho shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Menacho counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Menacho bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morales's head backwards.
Morales moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Morales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Morales moves in looking to clinch but Menacho pushes him off.
Menacho fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Menacho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Menacho closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morales jumps guard and drags Menacho to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Morales looking for a guillotine here but Menacho defends easily.

Menacho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Menacho has Morales pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Morales manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Morales is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Menacho pulls him back up using the underhooks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Menacho pushes Morales back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Morales is still on wobbly legs! Can Menacho finish him?
Menacho creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Morales with a big uppercut! Morales tries to clinch up but Menacho pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Morales to the mat! Morales covers up and Menacho unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
