Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jabari Tarek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howard Hinton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinton shoots in for a takedown but Tarek shows good takedown defense.
Hinton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Howard Hinton has been cut.
Tarek scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hinton doesn't seem bothered though.
Tarek circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tarek counters with a stiff right hand.
Hinton clinches up against the cage.
Hinton avoids the elbow strike from Tarek, against the cage.
Tarek swings wildly with an uppercut but Hinton uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tarek misses with a punch on the inside.

Tarek has a couple of punches blocked by Hinton.
Hinton takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hinton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Tarek lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tarek throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Tarek tries to throw a body punch but Hinton avoids it by throwing Tarek back against the cage.

Tarek drops Hinton with a beautiful combination! Hinton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tarek is looking for the KO!
Hinton is rocked!
Hinton tries to clinch there but Tarek circles away.
Tarek tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hinton manages to circle out of the way.
Hinton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tarek counters with a huge right that knocks Hinton out cold! Tarek is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jabari Tarek!
A relieved looking Jabari Tarek thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
