Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Lyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rex Amwano!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oooooh!!! Amwano has knocked Lyle down with a huge combo! Amwano steps away and waves a wobbly Lyle back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Donny Lyle has been cut.
A jab from Lyle misses.
Lyle throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Amwano scores with a counter punch that sends Lyle to the canvas! Amwano smells blood - he's punishing Lyle with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lyle has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rex Amwano!
A very excited looking Rex Amwano rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
