Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Meyer (ranked 2452 p4p, 25888 weight class) and Topan Badai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Meyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Topan Badai!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badai slips a jab from Meyer.
Meyer jabs Badai to the body, keeping him at a distance.
No luck for Badai with that takedown attempt.
Badai tries to score with a low kick but Meyer moves his leg out of the way.
An attempted straight right counter from Meyer misses the target.
Meyer lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Badai head around and knocks him out cold! Meyer hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas Meyer!
