Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yevgeny Prigozhin (ranked 25366 p4p, 5271 weight class) and Sama Katsu (ranked 0 p4p, 512 weight class). Katsu has chosen 抜刀隊 - Battotai (Metal Version) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yevgeny Prigozhin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sama Katsu!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katsu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Katsu lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Katsu looks for a takedown but Prigozhin sprawls well.
Katsu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Prigozhin defends it nicely.
Katsu stuns Prigozhin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Prigozhin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Katsu circles away quickly and effectively.

Prigozhin looks to land a combination. Katsu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Katsu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prigozhin sees it coming and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Katsu throws a nice looking combination but Prigozhin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Prigozhin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Katsu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Prigozhin to the ground. Katsu is now in Prigozhin's guard.
Prigozhin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Katsu gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Katsu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Prigozhin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Prigozhin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Katsu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Prigozhin misses with a series of wild punches.
Katsu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Prigozhin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A swing and a miss from Prigozhin.
Katsu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Prigozhin backs up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Katsu stuffs the takedown attempt from Prigozhin. Prigozhin gets slowly back to his feet.

A nice combination there by Prigozhin.
Prigozhin avoids the body shot from Katsu.
Prigozhin throws a big counter combination but Katsu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Some wild striking there from Prigozhin.
Sama Katsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Katsu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Prigozhin moves away.
Prigozhin scores with a one two! Katsu had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Katsu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Prigozhin.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Prigozhin cracks Katsu with an open hand slap.
Katsu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prigozhin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Katsu moves out of range of the body kick from Prigozhin.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sama Katsu dominated that round.

Katsu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Prigozhin doesn't seem bothered though.

Katsu steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Prigozhin is out on his feet! Katsu sets himself and nearly takes Prigozhin's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
