Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaysun Khan (ranked 5186 p4p, 5441 weight class) and Brayan Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 284 weight class). Brayan Duarte has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jaysun Khan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jaysun Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brayan Duarte! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage. Duarte is trying to force a seperation but Khan has the dominant position.
Khan decides to pull guard. Khan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duarte's guard.
 Duarte is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Khan is stalling in the full guard. Khan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duarte working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Khan.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Duarte throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Duarte wanted to stand there but Khan had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khan is on top in guard.
 Khan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Khan wanted to stand there but Duarte had control of the position. Khan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Duarte for as long as he can get away with. Duarte tries to land a sweep but no joy. Khan is in close to Duarte's body, working some short punches and elbows. Khan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Duarte looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan lands a couple of digs. Khan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Khan drops back looking for a leg! Duarte is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duarte manages to kick Khan off! Khan jumps back into Duarte's guard. Khan advances position into side control!
Khan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Khan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Duarte being controlled for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duarte is pushing Khan's head away, looking to escape. Khan manages to hold on to the position though. Duarte is looking for a sweep.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jaysun Khan dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Duarte tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from Duarte. Duarte keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Duarte is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Duarte slaps away a takedown attempt from Khan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duarte has taken the fight to the clinch.
Khan has clasped his hands together around Duarte's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Khan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Jaysun Khan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duarte tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Khan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Khan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Duarte is not a happy chappy� he wants out of there.
Duarte is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Khan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Duarte is trying to escape the mount.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Khan looking to finish Duarte with some ground and pound. This is bad for Duarte! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duarte slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Duarte looks like he's trying to stand up.
Khan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Duarte wants to control but Khan is keeping busy.
Duarte is breathing heavily. Khan controlling the pace. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Khan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duarte did well to prevent Khan getting side control. Khan winds up and cracks Duarte with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Khan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Duarte's temple. Khan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jaysun Khan dominated that second round. That's time! Khan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Duarte misses with a series of wild punches.
Duarte gets tackled into the cage by Khan. Khan maintains the clinch.
Khan jumps into guard, dragging Duarte to the mat.
Khan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duarte prevents Khan from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duarte wants to get up but he can't break Khan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Duarte is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Khan is adopting a defensive guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Duarte gets to his feet - Khan follows without any prompting. Duarte misses with a double jab
and Khan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Duarte's guard. Duarte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Khan scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Duarte is looking for a triangle but Khan pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khan stopping the sweep attempt from Duarte.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan advances position into side control! Khan working the head with strikes.
Khan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Duarte looks calm but he's in trouble here. Khan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Duarte is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Khan lets go of the hold and Duarte can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jaysun Khan! Brayan Duarte was interviewed post fight and said 'Good Job To The Winner standing across from me but also fuck you motherfucker'.
