Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giga Chad (ranked 2041 p4p, 3738 weight class) and Godizyla Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Godizyla Silva!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice defenses there by Silva.
Silva pushes Chad up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva dodges an elbow strike from Chad.
Silva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Silva fails to land.
Silva scores with a nice hook to the head.
Silva pulls guard successfully.
Chad decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chad thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Chad looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.
Chad misses with a hook.
Chad jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chad is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Silva yanks on the arm and Chad is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Silva.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Godizyla Silva!
A relieved looking Godizyla Silva thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
