Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aggressive Merman (ranked 5204 p4p, 3184 weight class) and Bruno Eriksson (ranked 489 p4p, 364 weight class). Merman's entrance music is Under the Sea. A fine choice. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aggressive Merman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruno Eriksson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson throws a series of punches but Merman avoids them all with ease.

Merman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Bruno Eriksson has been cut.
Merman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eriksson.

Merman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Merman counters with a series of strikes. Eriksson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Eriksson's corner calls for a 1-2. Eriksson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Eriksson drops Merman with a straight right hand, right on the button! Eriksson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Eriksson!
In defeat, Aggressive Merman stepped up to the mic, saying 'If only I had legs and not this damn flipper.'.
