Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Takala might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monroe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Takala sprawling to the canvas! Takala rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Monroe finish him?!
Monroe drops Takala with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Takala looks back up at him and smiles so Monroe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Takala is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Monroe Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Takala is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Francesco Monroe!
A relieved looking Francesco Monroe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
