Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Shukur!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shukur blocks the body kick.
Holloweigh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shukur gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Holloweigh is looking to land body kicks.
Shukur moves into the clinch.
Shukur lands an uppercut.
Shukur lands with a left to the head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Shukur has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Holloweigh is trying to keep an underhook but Shukur manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Shukur works to advance to full mount. Holloweigh defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Shukur has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Holloweigh's face.
Shukur lands a couple of good shots and Holloweigh has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Holloweigh tries to escape but Shukur has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Shukur has managed to slip his arm under Holloweigh's chin. This could be all over... yep, Holloweigh is tapping out! Submission win for Shukur.

In his post fight interview, Ali Shukur started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
