The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Okalou - just one landing.
Nice straight punches there by Okalou. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Okalou.
Okalou's corner calls for a 1-2. Okalou obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Okalou thuds his right hand into Carson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Okalou connects with a nice looking jab.
Okalou throws a good cross that connects.
Okalou scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Carson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Okalou cracks Carson with a right hand to the side of the head.

Carson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Carson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Carson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Carson wanted to stand there but Okalou had control of the position.

Carson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Carson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Carson passes Okalou's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Carson not doing much here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Carson wants to pass the guard but Okalou is defending well.
Carson is looking for a kimura but Okalou is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carson to get the leverage.
Well, if Carson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Carson passes the guard and advances to mount!
Carson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Carson extends the arm and Okalou is forced to tap!
