Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Ponwangswan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Nas!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponwangswan moves in looking to clinch but Nas pushes him off.
Nas lands with an overhand left.

Ponwangswan is rocked!

Nas clinches up with Ponwangswan and pushes him back against the cage.
Oh Ponwangswan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ponwangswan tries to circle away but Nas has him pinned against the cage.
Ponwangswan seems to have got his legs back now.
Nas is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Nas breaks the clinch.
Nas cracks a nice hook into Ponwangswan's ribs.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ponwangswan enables Nas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ponwangswan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nas chips away with some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ponwangswan being controlled here, momentarily.

Nas stands up from Ponwangswan's guard - Nas perhaps looking for a knockout.

Nas gets a takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Nas is working for a submission of some sort.
Nas keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Nas's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nas works his way into full mount!

Nas is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Nas extends the arm and Ponwangswan is forced to tap!
