Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cain Nikko (ranked 24879 p4p, 2653 weight class) and Karl Schwarzschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karl Schwarzschild has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Nikko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Schwarzschild!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzschild looks to land a body kick but Nikko moved away.
Nikko misses with a kick to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nikko takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cain Nikko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schwarzschild lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nikko circles away quickly and effectively.
Nikko seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Schwarzschild slips under a jab.
Schwarzschild let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Nikko misses with a kick to the body
and Schwarzschild cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schwarzschild looks to land a right hand but Nikko moved out of range.
Schwarzschild dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nikko. That did some damage!
Nikko scores with a jab to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Good work by Schwarzschild as he checks the leg kick.
Nikko lands a slapping body shot.
Nikko lands with a right hand.
Schwarzschild keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schwarzschild looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Nikko misses with a looping right.
Nikko blocks a head kick by Schwarzschild.
A telegraphed right hand from Schwarzschild misses the target.
Nikko throws out a loose jab but Schwarzschild uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nikko throws a series of punches but Schwarzschild moves out of range.
Schwarzschild appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nikko misses with a series of wild punches.
Nikko looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Nikko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nikko scores with a body shot.
Schwarzschild cracks Nikko with an open hand slap.
Nikko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Schwarzschild was well out of range. Poor timing from Nikko.
Nikko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Schwarzschild connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nikko scrambles back to his feet.

Nikko is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nikko throws a hook but Schwarzschild blocks it.
Schwarzschild shapes to counter with a head kick.
Nikko misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nikko throws a right hand that Schwarzschild ducks under and follows up with a left that Schwarzschild also avoids with ease.
Schwarzschild connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Oh Nikko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the body from Nikko misses
and Schwarzschild counters with a monster head kick that knocks Nikko out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Karl Schwarzschild!
A less than humble Karl Schwarzschild misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Cain Nikko was interviewed post fight and said 'My opponent got lucky. Next time he won't'.
