The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and David Schapiro.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Potters leaves Lima with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lima tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Potters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lima wants to clinch up but Potters keeps it at a distance.
Lima tries to close the distance and clinch up but Potters swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Potters looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lima has his foot on Potters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Potters works his way back into a safe position though.
Potters is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Potters might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Potters is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lima isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Potters stacks Lima on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Potters!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lima wants to control but Potters postures up.
Lima tries to bench press Potters off him but Potters keeps the position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Lima is trying to escape the position but Potters is controlling the position.
Lima is trying to control Potters's posture but Potters avoids it.

Potters wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lima, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Lima's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lima tries to bench press Potters off him but Potters keeps the position.

Potters is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lima has escaped the position, nice work there.

Potters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lima gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Lima is looking for a sweep. Potters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Potters not doing much here.

Potters is trying for a kimura here. Lima looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Potters wins by kimura!
