The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marlin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yu Sin for as long as he can get away with. Yu Sin is trying to reverse the position but instead Marlin has taken his back - oops! Marlin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Yu Sin has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Marlin is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Yu Sin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. I really don't envy Yu Sin right now.
Marlin slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
