Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Volkov (ranked 520 p4p, 2178 weight class) and Juan David Franco (ranked 73 p4p, 253 weight class). Franco has chosen Bullet For My Valentine- Tears Don't Fall as his entrance music. Juan David Franco told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bogdan Volkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan David Franco!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Volkov.
Volkov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
As Volkov backs off Franco throws a huge counter combo but Volkov manages to avoid it all.
Franco displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Volkov throws out the jab.
Franco throws a series of punches but Volkov avoids them all with ease.
Franco throws a head kick that misses.
Franco misses with the combination.
Volkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Franco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A right-left combo lands from Franco.
It looks like Bogdan Volkov has been cut.
Franco lands a left and a right that send Volkov crashing to the mat, dazed. Franco thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Volkov is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Franco lands a big right hook! Volkov looks hurt but is still standing! Franco lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Volkov falls down and Franco dives in with a huge hammer fist! Volkov's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Franco runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Juan David Franco!
A relieved looking Juan David Franco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
