Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aleksandr Zuev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Punch Clinch Submit!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zuev punishes Submit's body with a nice straight punch.
Submit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zuev pinned against the cage. Zuev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Punch Clinch Submit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Submit misses with a lunging right hand
and Zuev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zuev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Submit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Submit shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Zuev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Aleksandr Zuev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punch Clinch Submit.
Submit shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zuev's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Submit looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zuev!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Submit swings around for an armbar but Zuev sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Submit's guard.

Zuev decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
It looks like Zuev has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Zuev misses with a series of wild punches.
Submit tries to move into range but Zuev moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Submit on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Zuev darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Zuev moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Zuev looks to land a combination but Submit avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zuev cracks a nice hook into Submit's ribs.
Zuev is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Zuev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Submit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Submit throws a head punch that misses.
Zuev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Submit fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zuev manages to avoid it.

As Submit looks to move away, Zuev throws a big counter combo but Submit just gets out of the way.

Submit with a poor takedown
and Zuev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Submit is rocked!
Submit gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Zuev gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Submit is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aleksandr Zuev!
A very excited looking Aleksandr Zuev rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
