Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez has chosen National Anthem as his entrance music. Scott Green has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, TJ Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Green darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Green catches Sanchez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Green avoids a punch combination nicely.
Green throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range. Sanchez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Green sprawls well initially but Sanchez persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sanchez decides to return to a standing position. Green tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Green. Sanchez throws a left and a right that both miss
and Green counters with a stiff right hand. Sanchez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Green wants a takedown but no success here.
Green is trying to stall.
Green wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanchez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sanchez drives through and clinches with Green against the cage.
Green fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sanchez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez pulls guard effortlessly. Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Green preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green wants to stand and escape but instead Sanchez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Sanchez gets to his feet. Green looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Sanchez darts in and clinches Green up against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Sanchez.
Sanchez has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Green regains guard immediately. Sanchez postures up.
Green is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sanchez defends well. Sanchez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sanchez trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Green manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Green thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green stands up from guard. Let's bang! Green swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sanchez gets a clinch. Sanchez prevents a body shot from Green. Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. TJ Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch lands to the side of Sanchez 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Green napping and manages to drive through into side control! This has been an exciting period of action! Sanchez tries to move to mount but Green blocks the move with his legs. Sanchez looks gassed! Green regains half guard. Green is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green is working hard here to advance position. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sanchez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Green's head. Green looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanchez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Green is trying to defend but Sanchez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sanchez is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green works his way to full guard. Good work. Green is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Green stands up from half guard. Green lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanchez circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez lands a head kick. Green smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Green fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Green fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sanchez on the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ Sanchez dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Green dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Green lands a really nice looking cross but Sanchez seems unphased.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. TJ Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far. Sanchez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Green is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sanchez throws and elbow that misses. Green uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanchez's guard. Nice move by Green! Green passes into half guard. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Green is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Green fails to advance to Sanchez's back. Sanchez has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Sanchez tries to escape the position.
Green is looking to control Sanchez but Sanchez is wriggling around and keeping busy. Sanchez wants to escape the position.
Green wants to control the position but Sanchez frees himself and scrambles - Green manages to regain control in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Green decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sanchez to his feet. A shot to de liver by Green. Beautiful body shot. Green lands a jab-cross combination. Sanchez falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Green to counter with a crisp jab. Sanchez circles away from the clinch attempt so Sanchez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Green has his feet on Sanchez's thighs here. He's pushed Sanchez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sanchez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
