The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparrow moves in looking to clinch but Dos Santos pushes him off. Sparrow is looking to clinch. Sparrow drives through and clinches with Dos Santos against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dos Santos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sparrow is looking to escape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dos Santos seems to be working for a kimura but Sparrow defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
