Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23150 p4p, 23405 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higanti Libat could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Way Nada's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 54 - 76 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 64 - 68 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nada shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Libat tries to sprawl but Nada drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Libat has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nada is working away from the top position though.
Nada takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Libat is looking for a sweep. Nada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Nada closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Libat can't do much from the bottom here.
A lull in the action here as Nada stalls from top position.

Libat parries the strikes from Nada easily there. Nada is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Libat to escape.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nada shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it.
Nada misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Libat is looking to counter with a body kick.
Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Libat fails with the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Way Nada dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Libat looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Libat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nada is positioning himself well to prevent Libat advancing to mount.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Libat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nada can't do much from the bottom here.
Libat is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nada's shoulder. That is not cool.

Both fighters take a look at the clock.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nada tries to buck Libat off but Libat is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Higanti Libat dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nada shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Libat as he jumps to the side.

Nada gets caught flat footed, as Libat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Libat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Nada is controlling Libat's posture.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nada pulls Libat in close to his closed guard and prevents Libat from doing any damage or advancing position.
Libat is stalling in the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nada shoots in looking for a takedown but Libat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nada's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Libat is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Nada throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Libat tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nada is in Libat's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Libat is adopting a defensive guard.
Libat looking for a sweep. Not yet Libat, not yet.
Nada trying to control the position from guard on top but Libat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Libat seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Nada controls from within his opponent's guard.
Nada missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Libat has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
