Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22773 p4p, 22695 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Xxx Xxx has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 148 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 139 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B pushes Fighter A away with a front kick. Fighter B fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fighter B gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter A counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A with a poor takedown and Fighter B counters with a right hand to the body. Fighter A throws the kick towards the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fighter B tries to sprawl but Fighter A drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fighter B has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fighter A is on him like a limpet, forcing Fighter B back against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fighter A is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fighter B looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fighter A is looking to sweep but instead, Fighter B has passed into half guard.
Fighter B takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter B swivels and escapes. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A throws a quick counter head kick but Fighter B was just out of range. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A shoots in but Fighter B avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fighter A throws a leg kick and Fighter B counters with a nice body kick.
Fighter A shoots in but no luck this time.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter B napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fighter B throws Fighter A to one side and escapes! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter A but Fighter A pushes him off and we're back to square one.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B throws a wild body kick that Fighter A sees coming a mile off. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Fighter A looks for a takedown but Fighter B sprawls well.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter B enables Fighter A to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter B manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A throwing strikes but missing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fighter B is on top in guard.
Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. Fighter A utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B preventing the sweep. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter B wants to pass the guard but Fighter A is keeping the position. Fighter B showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fighter B trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fighter A's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B content to stall in guard here.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter B shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fighter B was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Fighter A dives in and grabs Fighter B's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes down on Fighter A's head and hops out. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter A with a poor takedown and Fighter B counters with a low kick, right behind Fighter A 's knee. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B circles away easily and Fighter B counters with a left to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A countering left hand to the body from Fighter B misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter B or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter A, which made it look bad. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter B leaves Fighter A with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter B is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fighter A with a body shot.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter B wants to clinch up but Fighter A keeps it at a distance. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B tries to sprawl but Fighter A drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fighter B is looking to control Fighter A's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter B avoid being mounted? Fighter B blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fighter A. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far. Fighter B is looking to improve his position.
Fighter B is controlling Fighter A's position as best he can from this difficult position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B gets full guard. Fighter B trying to control the position here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xxx Xxx. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
