The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thoupos misses with a jab to the body
and Kersikov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Thoupos wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kersikov manages to pass to side control.
Kersikov content to control rather than advance.

Thoupos throws a hook to the side of Kersikov's head but Kersikov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Thoupos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kersikov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Thoupos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kersikov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

so Kersikov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Thoupos is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kersikov dives into side control.
