Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 478 p4p, 504 weight class) and Philip Marcus (ranked 46 p4p, 48 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Philip Marcus! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcus throws a body shot but no joy. Marcus avoids the body shot from Kentas.
Kentas misses the shot to the body. A little jabbing left from Marcus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Marcus throws a hook but Kentas avoids it easily.
Kentas closes the distance and clinches. Marcus can't find room to land a body shot as Kentas controls the action.
Marcus looking to stall.
Marcus blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kentas tries to land a knee to the head but Marcus blocks with his arms.
Marcus struggles to land a body shot inside as Kentas controls his hands.
Marcus misses with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kentas working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kentas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marcus just stands there and leans against the cage. Kentas tries to throw a body punch but Marcus avoids it by throwing Kentas back against the cage. Kentas is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Marcus to keep the fight standing. Marcus is trying to break the clinch but Kentas has him pressed against the cage. Kentas can't find room to land a body shot as Marcus controls the action.
Marcus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kentas lands on the inside with an uppercut. Marcus tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kentas lands with a short shot to the head.

Kentas scores with a sloppy right hand. Marcus should have avoided that one. Kentas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marcus. Kentas slips a straight right by Marcus. Kentas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kentas missing with a left hand there. Marcus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Marcus looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kentas catches Marcus with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kentas looks to land a right hand but Marcus moved out of range. Kentas digs a good body shot into Marcus's ribs. Marcus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Marcus lands with a slapping head kick.
 It looks like Rimtas Kentas has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marcus on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Philip Marcus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kentas punishes Marcus's body with a nice straight punch. Kentas misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Marcus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kentas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kentas with a hook. Kentas stuns Marcus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Marcus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kentas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kentas drops down looking for a counter takedown but Marcus sprawls and moves away. Good shot there by Kentas. Marcus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kentas misses with a shot to the body letting Marcus counter with a right hand. Kentas tries to clinch up but Marcus circles away and keeps his distance. Kentas scores with a jab to the body. Marcus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kentas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Marcus throws a hook to the side of Kentas's head but Kentas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kentas misses with a left hand and Marcus counters with a nice uppercut. Kentas scores with the left hand. Marcus knows he should have avoided that one. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kentas, as that shot connected.
A telegraphed right hand from Kentas misses the target. Marcus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kentas jabs at Marcus's body. Kentas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kentas throws the left hand but Marcus avoids the punch easily.
Kentas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kentas is trying to work for a kimura but Marcus is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Marcus is looking for a sweep. Kentas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kentas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marcus is just riding it out for now. Kentas eventually gives up the hold. Marcus holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Kentas stalling. Marcus works his way to full guard. Good work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rimtas Kentas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rimtas Kentas's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kentas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marcus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kentas misses with a hook. Marcus throws out a counter right but Kentas avoids it with no problem. Marcus takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Marcus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kentas shoots for a double leg takedown but Marcus sprawls well. He's pushed Kentas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kentas misses the shot to the body. Kentas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Marcus sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kentas shoots for a takedown but Marcus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rimtas Kentas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kentas darts in trying to clinch and Marcus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kentas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marcus manages to avoid it. A little jabbing left from Marcus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kentas misses with a jab to the body
and Marcus counters with a head kick that wobbles Kentas - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Marcus sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philip Marcus! An out of breath Philip Marcus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
