Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Philip Marcus!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcus throws a body shot but no joy.

Kentas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Marcus throws a hook to the side of Kentas's head but Kentas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kentas, as that shot connected.

Kentas throws the left hand but Marcus avoids the punch easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kentas is trying to work for a kimura but Marcus is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marcus is looking for a sweep. Kentas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kentas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marcus is just riding it out for now. Kentas eventually gives up the hold.
Marcus holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Marcus works his way to full guard. Good work.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
