Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Volodymyr Kersikov (ranked 166 p4p, 723 weight class) and Michal Sykora (ranked 12 p4p, 61 weight class). Kersikov's entrance music is DEF LEPPARD - Pour Some Sugar On Me. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Volodymyr Kersikov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Volodymyr Kersikov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Volodymyr Kersikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Sykora! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kersikov ducks under a wild hook from Sykora. Sykora misses with a left hand
and Kersikov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kersikov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sykora on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kersikov working the head and body with strikes. Sykora is trying to stand back up but Kersikov is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kersikov slips a nice elbow through Sykora's hands, connecting with Sykora's forehead. Kersikov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kersikov prevents Sykora from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kersikov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sykora wants to get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sykora taking some punishment here, with Kersikov in his half guard. Kersikov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kersikov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sykora is trying to stand back up but Kersikov is controlling him
Sykora is looking to get back to is feet but Kersikov passes into side control.
Sykora is trying to get back to his feet. Check out the look on Kersikov's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Kersikov prevents Sykora from escaping the position. Kersikov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Sykora gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Sykora wants to try and get back to his feet. Sykora takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kersikov controlling from the full mount. Kersikov with the ground and pound from mount. Kersikov is in the full mount, landing strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sykora is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sykora is in a horrible position here. Kersikov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sykora is trying to stand up. Kersikov landing strikes from the mount. Kersikov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sykora squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Kersikov is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sykora is surviving well by controlling Kersikov's body position as best he can. Kersikov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kersikov postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sykora badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kersikov around the waist but Kersikov pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kersikov is the winner by TKO! Kersikov jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Volodymyr Kersikov! During a confident post fight interview, Volodymyr Kersikov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
