The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.
Graham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Penn.

Demetrius Graham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Graham sprawls well. Graham wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Penn gets slowly back to his feet.

Clinched against the cage, Graham lands a big elbow that drops Penn! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Penn is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

A relieved looking Demetrius Graham thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
