Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colton Flowers (ranked 2417 p4p, 4265 weight class) and Parker Richmond (ranked 204 p4p, 324 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richmond moves away from the strike by Flowers.

Flowers has had enough of the clinch but Richmond keeps him there for the moment.

Flowers throws a series of punches but Richmond avoids them all with ease.
Richmond dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Flowers. That did some damage!
Richmond has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Flowers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Richmond dips a shoulder and cracks Flowers with a mighty uppercut! Flowers falls back against the cage and Richmond unloads with a barrage of strikes! Flowers is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Richmond screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Parker Richmond was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
