Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benson Beckley (ranked 1861 p4p, 5467 weight class) and Rafael Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Gracie! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Beckley. Beautiful body shot. Gracie looks winded! Beckley misses with the combination.
Gracie drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Beckley defends it well. A clash of legs there as Gracie blocks the low kick. Beckley with a body punch. A glancing blow. Beckley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Beckley lands a nice shot to the body.
Beckley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Beckley lands with a nice body punch.
Beckley closes the distance and clinches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Beckley taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Beckley has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Beckley scores with punches and elbows.

Beckley is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gracie defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Gracie is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Beckley is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gracie is defending well though. Beckley let's go of the attempt for now.

 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Beckley tightening his grip on Gracie, looking for the choke.

Beckley is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gracie has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Beckley is cranking Gracie's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gracie! He's tightened the choke and Gracie is tapping out!
