Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amari Howell (ranked 1796 p4p, 21340 weight class) and Diego Hageman (ranked 181 p4p, 507 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Amari Howell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Amari Howell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 44 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Hageman!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hageman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Howell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
It looks like Diego Hageman has been cut.
Howell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hageman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Howell uses his free foot to push down on Hageman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hageman.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Howell looking to finish Hageman with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hageman!
Howell has isolated one of Hageman's arms. Hageman looking to fight him off but Howell twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
