Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fiddle Sticks (ranked 305 p4p, 227 weight class) and Mitch Kingston (ranked 42 p4p, 32 weight class). Sticks comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera: Walk. Mitch Kingston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fiddle Sticks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitch Kingston! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sticks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sticks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kingston doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sticks. Kingston tries to roll over but Sticks keeps him under control.

Kingston controlling the position for now. Kingston tries to kick Sticks off but Sticks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Sticks is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Kingston still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Kingston has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Sticks is looking to reverse the position.

Kingston stands up and beckons Sticks to his feet. Sticks fails to land the takedown. A little jabbing left from Kingston on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kingston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kingston wants it to stay on the feet.
Sticks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kingston did well to prevent Sticks getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kingston pushes Sticks off and gets back to his feet. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sticks checks a leg kick.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sticks gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kingston.
 It looks like Fiddle Sticks has been cut. Kingston looks to land a right hand but Sticks moved out of range. Sticks tries for a takedown but Kingston circles away easily and Kingston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fiddle Sticks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sticks doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kingston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sticks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kingston's waist but Kingston gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sticks off to one side. Kingston swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Sticks has his takedown stuffed and Kingston counters with a straight right hand. Sticks fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sticks doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kingston counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sticks! Kingston lets Sticks back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
 Sticks is rocked! Sticks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kingston counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mitch Kingston! After winning the bout, Mitch Kingston thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
