The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.

Sulvar closes the distance and clinches.
Sulvar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hashima tries to pull guard but Sulvar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sulvar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sulvar manages to end up in side control.

Hashima felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sulvar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hashima is defending well though. Sulvar let's go of the attempt for now.
