And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Carson Tully!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

Tully fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kolan sprawls well initially but Tully persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kolan (0) vs (2) Tully
We've been hearing good reports from Kolan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Tully is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Tully trying to control the action but Kolan is working from the bottom.
Tully perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
It looks like Tully might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Tully seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kolan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kolan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tully pulls his head out easily.

Tully is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kolan has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Tully has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kolan taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Tully doesn't care though - he's delighted!
