The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Singleton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oh's guard.

Singleton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Oh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Singleton's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Oh is desperately trying to improve his position but Singleton has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Singleton is hanging on to Oh's back as he tries to escape.

Oh tries to break free.
Singleton slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Singleton gets his hands free as Oh looks to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oh wants to escape the position.

Oh turns into Singleton and is now in his guard.

Oh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Singleton seems keen to control Oh's posture.
Singleton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Oh wants to control from the top but Singleton keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Singleton is on top in guard.

Oh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Singleton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Oh trying to control the action but Singleton just sinks the hooks in.
Singleton has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Oh's body.

Singleton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Oh's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Oh breaks Singleton's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Oh is fighting to break Singleton's control of his arms but Singleton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Oh preventing the sweep.
Oh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Singleton is pulling down on Oh's head. It's preventing any offense from Oh, at least for the moment.
Singleton continues to stall.
Oh showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Singleton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Oh wants to pass the guard but Singleton is keeping the position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Singleton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Oh is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
