This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 19 wins and 14 losses; Ceasar Rules! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Rules closes the distance and clinches up with Hunter, looking for a takedown. Rules pushes Hunter against the cage but Hunter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hunter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rules napping and manages to drive through into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter controls the position from side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rules is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rules moves into full guard.
Hunter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rules is keeping the position for now. Rules tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hunter is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

 That's five minutes gone in the round. Rules can't keep his opponent in guard - Hunter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hunter prevents Rules from improving his position. Hunter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Hunter is pressing down on Rules's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rules is holding on for now. Hunter trying to control the pace. Hunter trying to mount his opponent but Rules defends it.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hunter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hunter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hunter tries to pass to full mount but Rules defends it. Rules is looking for a sweep. Hunter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Rules manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hunter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rules is keeping the position for now. Hunter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Rules not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Rules is pulling down on Hunter's head. It's preventing any offense from Hunter, at least for the moment. Hunter passes Rules's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rules is looking to improve his position.
Hunter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Hunter trying to pass the guard but Rules defending well. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rules is trying to get back to full guard. Rules has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunter is working away from the top position though. Hunter is controlling the pace.
Hunter is looking to advance position but Rules won't allow it.
 That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Well, if Hunter is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

 That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Rules is doing well to control the position and prevent Hunter from advancing to side control.  That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Rules wants to control but Hunter is having none of it. Hunter controlling the pace for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
