This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 12 losses; Paulo Miyao! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 18 losses; Tommy Reed! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Reed rushes Miyao and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Reed is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miyao gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Reed drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miyao pulls his leg out and moves away.

Miyao is trying to trip Reed. He has hold of a leg but Reed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Miyao persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
