Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Habib Mogamedov (ranked 4683 p4p, 2508 weight class) and Taisei Sakuraba (ranked 398 p4p, 262 weight class). Taisei Sakuraba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Habib Mogamedov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taisei Sakuraba! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mogamedov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sakuraba throws a head kick that misses. Mogamedov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sakuraba's waist but Sakuraba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mogamedov off to one side. Sakuraba looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sakuraba throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mogamedov on the side of the head. Mogamedov has his takedown stuffed and Sakuraba counters with a nice uppercut.
 Mogamedov is rocked!
 It looks like Habib Mogamedov has been cut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Habib Mogamedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mogamedov misses with a double jab
and Sakuraba counters with a crisp right that sends Mogamedov to the canvas! Sakuraba follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taisei Sakuraba! An out of breath Taisei Sakuraba thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
