Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bento Robinson (ranked 3439 p4p, 4240 weight class) and Jhon Hernandez (ranked 274 p4p, 323 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by Yung Bruh - Eternal. Jhon Hernandez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Robinson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hernandez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Robinson has time to react.

Jhon Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandez looks to score with a jab to the body but Robinson is just out of range.
Robinson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hernandez if he has to take too many more of those.
Hernandez is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Robinson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Hernandez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Robinson dives in and grabs Hernandez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hernandez pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
Robinson loads up on a big right hand but Hernandez slips the punch.
Robinson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hernandez defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bento Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hernandez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Robinson. Robinson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Robinson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hernandez uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Robinson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hernandez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Robinson's body to avoid the submission. Robinson has instead reached around Hernandez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Robinson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
