Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Pickering (ranked 2141 p4p, 1989 weight class) and Jabari Tarek (ranked 249 p4p, 227 weight class). Pickering comes into the arena with Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit blaring out of the sound system. Tarek comes into a darkened arena with his song building. “Panther Like A Panther (Miracle Mix edit)” by Run The Jewels ft. Trina kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Troy Pickering could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jabari Tarek's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Troy Pickering!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jabari Tarek!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Pickering misses its intended target.
Tarek looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Good work by Tarek as he checks the leg kick.
Tarek looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tarek lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pickering throws a lazy body kick
and Tarek counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pickering thinking.
Pickering throws a hook to the side of Tarek's head but Tarek sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pickering takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tarek loads up on a big right hand but Pickering slips the punch.
Tarek takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Tarek thuds his right hand into Pickering's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Pickering tries to bum rush Tarek with a series of wild strikes but Tarek uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pickering throws a lazy head kick
and Tarek counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pickering misses with a head kick.
Tarek throws out a counter right but Pickering avoids it with no problem.
Pickering moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pickering walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tarek checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pickering scores with a head kick. Tarek tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Pickering throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tarek now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Pickering misses with a kick to the body
and Tarek counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tarek slips a jab from Pickering.
Pickering tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tarek was well out of range. Poor timing from Pickering.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tarek! But no joy.
Pickering tries a head kick but it misses.
Tarek sends Pickering crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tarek is motioning to the referee to let Pickering up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Troy Pickering has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tarek takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pickering fails to land with a series of punches.
Pickering is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tarek.
Tarek listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pickering is rocked!
BAM! Tarek delivers a spinning backfist that drops Pickering like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
