Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Lyle (ranked 3170 p4p, 3393 weight class) and Dragomir Ditchev (ranked 357 p4p, 378 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Lyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dragomir Ditchev!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ben Hemmingworth and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyle throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lyle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Donny Lyle has been cut.
A punch combination from Lyle misses.
Ditchev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lyle blocks a jab.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ditchev!
Ditchev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lyle misses with a straight left.
Nice defenses there by Ditchev.
Ditchev appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Ditchev changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ditchev connects with a leg kick.
Ditchev dodges the punch combination from Lyle.
Ditchev throws a body punch but Lyle moves out of range.
Lyle throws a shot from downtown. Ditchev moves away and avoids it.
Lyle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lyle misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lyle throws a poor cross that misses
and Ditchev counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lyle! Ditchev lets Lyle back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lyle is rocked!
Ditchev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ditchev finds Lyle's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lyle flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Ditchev lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lyle will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dragomir Ditchev!
