Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nakachi Tadageru (ranked 137 p4p, 286 weight class) and Li Gong (ranked 18 p4p, 29 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Li Gong!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tadageru slips under a jab.
Tadageru fails with a takedown attempt.
Tadageru shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gong as he jumps to the side.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nakachi Tadageru. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tadageru moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gong breaks the clinch.
Gong ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gong lands a head kick. Tadageru smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Li Gong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gong throws out a counter right but Tadageru avoids it with no problem.

Tadageru goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gong prevents it.
Tadageru has Gong pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gong manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tadageru tries a body shot but Gong blocks it.

Tadageru keeps control of Gong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Tadageru is trying to drag Gong to the mat but Gong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Gong misses with a short punch on the inside.

Gong is pressed up against the cage. Tadageru has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gong down to the mat. Gong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tadageru's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gong connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tadageru scrambles back to his feet.
Tadageru has Gong up against the cage in a clinch.
Tadageru is trying to drag Gong to the mat but Gong just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Gong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nakachi Tadageru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tadageru closes the distance but Gong moves to the side
and Gong counters with a straight right hand.
Tadageru tries to clinch up.
Gong jabs Tadageru right on the nose. Tadageru blinks but takes it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Gong.
The fighters circle, before Gong throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tadageru's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gong lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Li Gong!
Li Gong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
