Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ducky Bones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Burns!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones shoots in for a takedown but Burns shows good takedown defense.
Burns misses with a takedown attempt - Bones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Burns throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bones blocks a jab.
Bones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bones shoots for a double leg takedown but Burns sprawls well. He's pushed Bones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burns circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Burns wants to get back to his feet but Bones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burns swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Burns can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bones controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Burns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Burns looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bones lands with a kick to the temple. Burns shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Bones looking to sit in guard and control but Burns gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

I would just about give that final round to Jason Burns.
Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
