Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Gracie (ranked 24835 p4p, 2985 weight class) and Kristof Pardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pardi's choice of entrance music: Party Boy Theme. Gracie has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 51 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 20 - 2, fighting out of London, Kristof Pardi! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Pardi drives through with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Pardi stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position.
Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pardi has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Pardi manages to pass to side control! Gracie is being controlled here. My spies in London MMA Club inform me that Pardi has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie tries to bench press Pardi off him but Pardi keeps the position. Pardi controlling the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pardi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gracie! Pardi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control but Pardi is having none of it. Pardi controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that Pardi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Pardi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie stops Pardi from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Gracie wants to hold on but Pardi pushes him away. Pardi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pardi is continuing to stall. Gracie is trying to reverse the position but instead Pardi has taken his back - oops! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Pardi.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kristof Pardi dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Pardi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pardi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pardi tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pardi passes into half guard. Pardi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pardi works his way into side control. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Pardi controls the position. Gracie wants to control but Pardi postures up. Gracie trying to remain calm as Pardi controls from the top position. Pardi advances to full mount. Pardi content just to control the position here. Pardi moves to back control. Pardi just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The adventures of Pardi the control monster continue. Boring.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Pardi. Pardi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. What can Gracie do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Kristof Pardi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Pardi has managed to clinch.
Pardi pulls Gracie into guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Pardi keeps moving. Pardi pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pardi is keeping the position for now. Kristof Pardi has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pardi pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie won't allow Pardi to sweep him here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pardi holds on and takes a little breather.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gracie fails with the takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pardi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pardi not doing much here.
Gracie actively working from the bottom here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pardi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gracie trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Pardi seems content to control. Pardi works his way into side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Pardi is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Pardi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pardi wants to take Gracie's back but he can't do it this time. Kristof Pardi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Pardi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Gracie is trying to escape the mount but Pardi keeps good control and instead manages to take Gracie's back.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pardi is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rafael Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Kristof Pardi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pardi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
